    WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU WORK WITH US

    How do estimates work?
    Estimates are free. We look at the space and the floor you have now, talk through what you want, and put the scope and price in writing before any work starts.
    How is pricing decided?
    Pricing depends on the square footage, the material, the condition of the existing floor and subfloor, and the finish you choose. Every floor is different, so instead of a price list you get an itemized written estimate.
    Hardwood or vinyl — which is right for my home?
    Hardwood can be sanded and refinished again years from now. Vinyl handles water better, which makes it a common choice for kitchens, bathrooms, basements and laundry rooms. We'll talk through the tradeoffs for each room at the estimate.
    How long will my project take?
    It depends on the size of the space, the material and how much prep the floor needs. The schedule is in your written estimate before the work starts, so you're not guessing.
